My name is Rosa Kong and I’m the youngest sister of Bunthoeun Kong. In the early morning of April 17, 2018 my brother was taken away by ICE on his way to work. It’s been 2 days since we haven’t heard from him. We are heartbroken. Bunthoeun, was the caregiver for his family as well as his wife side. He is a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather & uncle to the Kong’s & Chum’s. We just hope that he doesn’t get deported back to Cambodia because he left that country since he was a little boy during the Khmer Rouge time. All of his immediate families are here in the United States...Massachusetts & Florida. My brother made some wrong choices when he was growing up, but he served his time and has been staying out of trouble for more than 18 + years. He’s a hard worker, loves his family & friends. Last year on January 18, 2017 he lost an older brother to Cirrhosis. We can’t go on knowing that we might lose him too. It breaks my heart to see my parents, his wife and kids crying for him since he’s been taken away. I’m starting this GoFundMe account because it’s the only way we can get help to pay for an Immigration Lawyer.
