Hello,
As you all know there is a severe shortage of N95 masks available to front line health care workers to battle the Covid-19 pandemic. I have been in daily conversations with ER nurses at St. Barnabas who've described the rapidly deteriorating prognosis.
The last thing they should be worried about is PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). I have searched far and wide and procured a source for KN95 masks overseas (a suitable replacement for the domestic N95 mask according to hospital officials I've spoken with).
They are desperately in need of these masks. After my best negotiation efforts the final cost is $2.50 per mask based on a $25,000 order(landed with shipping included). Obviously the price per mask increases as quantity goes down. A $10,000 order would increase the per mask price to $3. However, I will get as many masks as possible based on amount raised. I will post all updates to this page.
My goal is to get upwards of 3,000 masks to the hospital ASAP (arrival time from order is roughly 7 days).
Anything you can give would be so greatly appreciated. The more I collect the more masks can get directly into the hands who need it the most!
The hospital has told me they are very excited and grateful about this donation and counting on us!
