PLEASE HELP SAVE THE WEST LOS ANGELES ANIMAL SHELTER'S FAVORITE BOY, COOPER!

Hi, it's Cooper - Wuff, Wuff... I love my new home, my foster Dad, and my new friends in the neighborhood. My wish finally came true, and I desire to have many more years of my new life. Please help me live. Wuv wu - Cooper

We have an unfortunate situation, and we pray our community can help!

Cooper #A2028315 is a sweet, loving boy who needs our help. Cooper has bounced around from owner to owner, state to state and was surrendered to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter in May.

Cooper quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite, so we were very grateful when a wonderful man offered to foster Cooper in July. Our excitement turned to sadness when Cooper was diagnosed with Cancer. His cancer CAN be treated, but his foster Dad is on a fixed income and has already spent $3,000 on Vet bills. We are asking for approximately $8,900 to remove the masses, and start treatment for Cooper to live. Any amount will contribute to saving his life.

Foster Dad: I heard the shelter was full with the July 4th Holiday approaching, so I decided to foster. I immediately noticed Cooper wagging his tail and greeted me with delight through the kennel. After test-driving 10 dogs, Cooper was the one who came home with me as my foster dog.

Cooper is now the neighborhood dog! He gets several walks a day and is loved by all the neighbors. He is a very happy, friendly, and intelligent boy who loves chasing butterflies and his tail. He follows me around, barking at crows as they fly by and is a loving companion. He has a backyard for the first time in his life and loves to run around and lay in the sun. Cooper watches TV and will, at times, bark back at the dogs on TV. He also helps me around the house.

Unfortunately, I noticed a couple of lumps and took him to my Vet, who diagnosed Cooper with Cancer. The good news thus far is that the cancer has not spread and CAN be removed with treatment.

PLEASE HELP ME SAVE COOPER AND LET HIM LIVE!!!
