Anna's Breast Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Hello dearest Friends and Family.

This is a really difficult note for our family to make. As some of you might already know our wonderful sister Anna was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Ductal Carcinoma in situ, although there's a 50% chance it might be Invasive Ductal Carcinoma). The doctors are saying the cancer has not entered the lymph nodes yet (at least that's what biopsy showed), but she will need to go through 3-4 surgeries in the next several months. This is a beginning of a long road for her. Her first Surgery is scheduled for October, 30th.  At this point we (and the doctors themselves) are not sure whether she will require chemotherapy or not and possibly radiation. The whole cancer fighting journey may potentially take up to a year or more.

Everyone who knows Anna know that she has the biggest, most caring and loving heart and always ready to serve others. She always puts others' needs before her own. Anna has been deeply involved in several mission trips to Russia, Kamchatka, Ukraine, Africa, Haiti, etc to bring Gospel and help those in need. Her heart is always on fire for God and others.

Anna would tirelessly work at nursing homes and hospices for last 15 years and recently got admitted into the program to get her Registered Nurse degree. But cancer had different plans.  Spending hours each day with doctors and surgeons and navigating through the confusion, the conflicting information, the overwhelm  has already become a full time job. College had to be put on hold and they even could not keep her spot in the program. Needles to say that this cancer diagnosis changed all the plans for the near future and shook us all up.

She is a sister, daughter, friend, and so much more to those who know her. She is a wonderful person inside and out and does so much for so many. Now is our turn to help her.

We are hoping that some of the medical expenses are going to be paid through healthcare program. We are asking for you support with impending living expenses and bills as she embarks on this journey.

We are asking for your  prayers and to please take a moment to consider donating to our fierce Anna as no contribution is too small to make an impact.

With lots of love and gratitude for each and one of you,
Olya and Mira
