Our sweet boy Cosmo has been very sick since Saturday. He’s been struggling with persistent vomiting and diarrhea and has already needed multiple visits to both the emergency veterinary hospital and his regular vet. He’s undergone several tests and has required repeated rounds of interstitial fluids and anti-nausea medication as the vets work to determine what’s going on.

Right now, Cosmo is having a hard time keeping anything down, even on a bland diet and he is at the point where if this doesn’t turn around in the next 24hrs the vet has recommended he be hospitalized and monitored. At the moment his condition is still ongoing. Watching him suffer has been heartbreaking, as he is such a lively goofy boy but he has been very weak and lethargic and the emotional, physical, and financial strain has quickly become overwhelming.

We don’t yet know what his full recovery will require, but we are deeply worried about what may still lie ahead. All we want is for Cosmo to get better, and we are doing absolutely everything we can to support him.
