Running and raising money for Michael
Last July 2023, I lost Mike, a much cherished and adored Friend, Father, Son and devoted partner to Connie.
He died after a short battle at st Wilfrid’s hospice in Eastbourne from an aggressive glioblastoma brain tumour. We were all left in utter shock despair and devastation.
Michael personified everything good about a Man- an incredibly loyal friend, Amazing Dad and partner and a wonderful Son. Plus, he was astonishingly handsome!!
The effort he made for his friends and family and his relationships with them was demonstrated at his farewell ceremony by the amount of loved ones he left behind.
My friend Lou (who also lost a dear friend to an aggressive brain tumour, beautiful Shirley) and I are running a half marathon (13.1 miles) in their honour October 13th in Bournemouth.
We would love to raise some money for St Wilfrids hospice Eastbourne who cared for Dearest Mike during his final days. When I went to visit Mike at St Wilfrid’s I was blown away by the kindness, warmth and dedication of all who worked there.
It would be of such comfort if we could help raise money towards a much needed ‘cuddle bed’ within the hospice which would allow for families to lay with their poorly loved ones comfortably rather than chairs surrounding the hospice’s single beds.
Please give on this page what ever you feel you can give so we can raise the love vibes for Mike and St Wilfrid’s hospice.
♥️♥️
