To friends, family and anyone who will read and share: If you can help financially or by donating time it would be appreciated.
Aaron is a Correctional Officer at Mule Creek State Prison. Aaron started with CDCR in 2014 and has six years of service with the state. Nine months ago, Officer Weaver was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He has been receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but the cancer is very aggressive and is not responding as expected. Aaron is now undergoing intense chemotherapy treatments that require hospitalization. Aaron is an exceptional person, loving husband and father, a great friend and a dedicated officer. He is 46 years old, has been married for 16 years and has 3 children ages 11, 9 and 5. Due to his deteriorating health and necessary treatment, CO Weaver can no longer work. He has exhausted all leave credits that he acquired during his 6 years of employment. A CTB as been setup and if you work for the state of California and you can donate any time, it would be immensely appreciated. I can forward form to those willing to contribute time Aaron and his family need their CDC family, friends, and anyone who can find it in their heart to support this family in this time of need. If you would prefer to contribute financially, you can do so at Safe Credit Union under his wife’s name, Julie Kingston-Weaver. You can also donate through Venmo or Facebook IM under her name. Any help is truly appreciated. This family needs your help and generosity. Please do not let them down.
