Hello! My name is Patti and I'm a 30 year old single mom of an amazing little guy!

In September of 2022, I was sent to a mental hospital for the first time and things have declined for me from there. I was discharged 2 weeks later to my grandmothers house, which ended up being worse for my mental health, and was forced to leave there to go back to the mental hospital in October of 2022. I was there for 6 weeks, when I was discharged to a transitional housing program so I wouldn't end up on the street. I've been in the program since December of 2022 and they just told me that my time with them is ending in 60 days. I have been working at a dog daycare since the summer, but between regular expenses for my little guy and myself, I haven't been able to stow away enough for a security deposit anywhere. I have finally found the perfect apartment for the 2 of us to live in and could really use the help securing funding for it.

It's a quaint little 1 bedroom apartment right on Broad St in such close proximity to his pediatrician and other offices that we use frequently.

Aside from my housing instability, my son was recently diagnosed ASD Level 2 which has been a challenge trying to navigate how to best support him. We've been in and out of appointments, he has therapy 3x a week, and just started daycare as well. Between all of these appointments and therapies, my job has started to suffer as I have had to drastically reduce the number of days I work to both comply with my programs needs and my son's needs. Since I've had to reduce hours, obviously my pay has decreased and ism making saving even harder. Thankfully my dad has agreed to be a cosigner on whatever apartment I'm able to qualify for.

All that being said, I could really just use a break and some help. I can't do this alone anymore. I hate the idea of putting this gofundme together, but I have limited to no other options. I really appreciate whatever any one is able to donate or share with me.
