In May of this year, our friend and fellow Nebo rider, Randy Simpson, was in a serious cycling accident that left him with extensive neck injuries and limited movement. Since then, Randy has shown remarkable grit through rehabilitation and continues to make steady progress. He’s set his sights on walking again—and if you know Randy, you know he’s not one to back down from a challenge.
Recovery is a long road, requiring round-the-clock care and a mountain of medical expenses. That’s why we’ve launched this GoFundMe—to help lift some of the financial weight off Randy and his wife's shoulders, and to help him get what he needs as he keeps pushing forward.
To show our support in a way that reflects Randy’s love for riding, Nebo Ridge is hosting a 75-mile bike ride in his honor on Saturday, August 30th at 9 AM from Westfield Cycle Sports, lead by Martin Richer and Jamie Paul. We're calling it “Rally for Randy" and it's about more than miles—it's about community, encouragement, and standing behind one of our own.
Whether it's a donation, a message of support, or simply sharing this campaign—every gesture means a great deal. Let’s show Randy he’s got a community behind him, cheering him on every step of the way.
