Jackson’s Journey

Jackson Reed Takeguma was born on May 15th and was diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and as a result suffered a mild-moderate brain injury.

Since Jackson was transported to the NICU in Santa Monica, Scott and Mary have been driving back and forth to Newbury Park and paying out of pocket for hotels in Santa Monica. Both, Santa Monica Fire Dept. and LA County Fire Dept. have so generously put them up in a hotel for a combined 7 days, but the days have been used up and we don’t know how long he will be in the NICU. Mommy and Daddy want to spend more time with him. Any little bit can help with hotel stays, unforeseen medical bills, future therapies, etc.
