As most of you know, Leslie has been going through Chemo these past few months battling Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. On May 8, 2018, she will be having surgery to remove the cancer, and will be hospitalized for four to six days.  After the surgery, the recovery period will be approximately three weeks.  Then, the first week of June,  she will begin another three rounds of chemo, which will be every three weeks.  With her first three Chemo Treatments done, and the upcoming surgery, Leslie has not been able to work as much as she would like to. The outpouring of emotional support has been amazing and has helped her keep her head held high and her fighting spirit constantly getting strong. We need help with her healing outside of the treatments and surgeries. These outside types of healing that help her and are needed approximately every two weeks are unfortunately expensive, and not covered by insurance, but they are keeping her strong and positive. They include acupuncture, chiropractic care and body work that helps to remove toxins and prepare her body for treatment as well as wake up the immune system and its response to foreign invaders. This body work helps improve her overall strength and vitality. In lieu of flowers or gifts, it would be great if we could all help financially so our dear friend can continue to be strong and keep her positive vibes going.
