Wrenley was born with a congenital heart defect called a Ventricular Septal Defect. He has a hole in the bottom chamber of his heart that causes his heart to work extra hard to pump blood throughout the rest of his body. This causes him to have poor weight gain, he gets tired easily, the left side of his heart is enlarged from all the extra blood passing through the hole, and he has very low iron which causes him to get sick very easily. He is having open heart surgery this week on the 19th to repair his VSD. We just found out that his insurance will not cover his entire hospital stay. Please keep our sweet boy in your prayers! Pray for his health before his surgery, pray for his doctors and surgeons, pray for his healing, and pray for our family as this is an emotionally trying time for us. We appreciate even the smallest donation which will help us cover his medical costs as well as help supplement our income while we take time off work to be with him in the hospital, gas to and from the hospital since it’s a 3 hour drive for us, and food for our 2 older boys while they’re in the hospital with us ❤️
