Dear Ones, Happy Spring - I am writing to you in the first days of Spring to share some important personal news. Some of you have been wanting to know how my journey has been going. Others were not aware that I had been diagnosed with cancer several years ago. I am telling you all about a new development now because you are a meaningful part of my life. After the original diagnosis, I took immediate action and the results at that time were successful. More recently, things have not progressed in the way that I had hoped. At the doctor’s office last week, I was advised that the cancer has spread into the nodes. As you will understand, I am still processing this extremely disappointing news. At the same time I am continuing to search and discover the next best options. The physical part of this is more challenging now due to unrelenting pain caused by pressure on the nerves. The emotional part is very difficult too. I am less able to participate in my community programs and social activities. My medical needs for special doctor appointments and medications has exceeded my financial capacity and I am asking for your support. As many of you know, It is hard for me to ask for help and I'm so very grateful for any that you can provide at this time.
