RIP our dear friend

Hi there! My name is Martina and I'm raising money for a wonderful friend and tour guide. Jackson lives in Nairobi (Kenya), together with his wife, Elizabeth, and his son, Moses. Caused by a Hepatitis infection, he suffers from a progressive liver cirrhosis. Symptoms right now are retention of fluids in his abdomen and legs, exhaustion and lack of appetite. The doctor urgently recommends inpatient treatment which he isn't able to pay. During the two corona years, tourism in Kenya has dropped drastically (like in so many other places) and Jackson has hardly had any clients. The inpatient treatment would cost about 2,500 euros, plus additional costs for medicine and further outpatient treatment. This is why we are grateful for each and every cent. Jackson lebt mit seiner Frau Elizabeth und seinem Sohn Moses in Nairobi (Kenia) und leidet aufgrund einer Hepatitis-Infektion an einer fortgeschrittenen Entzündung der Leber. Im Moment kämpft er mit Wassereinlagerungen im Bauch und in den Beinen, Müdigkeit und Appetitlosigkeit. Der Arzt empfiehlt ihm dringend eine stationäre Behandlung, die er jedoch nicht bezahlen kann. In den beiden Coronajahren ging wie überall die Zahl der Touristen in Kenia drastisch zurück, weshalb er kaum Aufträge bekommen hat. Eine Krankenversicherung kann sich die Familie finanziell nicht leisten. Für die erste stationäre Aufnahme werden umgerechnet 2.500 EUR fällig.
