Haley's current service dog Amigo needs to retire soon and we are in the beginning process of having another service dog trained for her. The cost to having another service dog trained is $5,000. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a blessing Amigo has beed for her. Haley has already done every therapy there is and is also on medication but it only helps her so much. Having a service dog has helped Haley to have the best quality of life possible. He needs a service dog because she has several different neurological disabilities as well as epilepsy. Amigo was trained to come and wake me up when she gets up at night because she wanders off, detect when she's about to have a seizure and stays with her to calm her down before and after a seizure. Amigo also helps with her severe anxiety by calming her down before she has a huge meltdown. Haley's new service dog will also be trained to do these things.
