A coworker of mine recently lost all of her possessions in an apartment building fire in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.

Praise God she and her family are safe, but they are now starting from nothing. Her 8-year-old son, adult daughter, and young granddaughter all lived in the apartment and lost everything they had.
