Ms. Jean our custard queen has stage 2 (maybe 3 -waiting for one more test to come back) esophageal squamous cell carcinoma …she currently has been going to many doctors appointments to make her treatment plan, assure she’s hydrated and get a few final tests done. Jean goes /went in on Feb 18 for a feeding tube to help with her nutrition during treatment.
As of current her tentative date to start treatment is March 7. She will have chemo and radiation for six weeks. She’ll have chemo once a week and radiation Mon -Fri.
After her treatment they’ll wait 6 weeks and do another PET scan to see how effective the treatment was and what our next plan will be.
At this time Jean isn’t working. Ryan(son) is still working and doing his best to get her to all appointments and using his PTO and personal days and Mandy(daughter in-law)has been helping some when she can with getting Jean to appointments. Hannah(daughter) is still living out of state and unable to be here at this time, but our hope is she get able to come within the next month.
In the midst of everything going on Jean's pipes froze at her home. Funds donated will go directly to helping her with her bills, house, basic needs, treatments and medications.
We will be setting up an Amazon wishlist to help her with household essentials for herself and her cats.
If you have any questions or have anything you want to help with plz contact Mandy or Angie([email redacted])as her children and her are overwhelmed with everything going on.
Thank you for all of the love and support
