About the Mourne Mountains 7 Peak Challenge
The Mourne Mountains 7 Peak Challenge is a demanding hiking route that takes on seven of the highest and most iconic peaks in the Mournes, located in County Down, Northern Ireland. The route covers over 18km of rugged terrain with more than 2,400 metres of total ascent, making it both a physical and mental test.
The peaks include:
Slieve Donard (850m – the highest mountain in Northern Ireland)
Slieve Commedagh 765m
Slieve Bearnagh 704m
Slieve Meelmore 747m
Slieve Meelbeg 708m
Slieve Binnian 687m
Slieve Lamagan 739m
This challenge isn’t just a hike – it’s a true endurance event that requires stamina, determination, and teamwork. By taking it on, we’re not only pushing our limits in one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Ireland, but also raising money for a great cause along the way.
