Hello my name is Mary and this is my brother Rickey. He's only 33 years old. About 3 weeks ago he contracted Covid and has been on a decline since. The doctors have done everything they could for him but he won't survive. He's been in a medically induced coma on a ventilator for a week and a half. About a week ago the news of him not surviving was devastating. We tried for a hail mary and had an ECMO procedure done as hope that would help him breath. Today I was given the news it has been unsuccessful.

Not in a million years did I ever think I would have to make these kind of decisions. Growing up, only being 11 months apart from each other, I would get on his nerves because I wanted to do what he was doing lol. Throughout the past 33 years we have had some great times that I will cherish for the rest of my life. He loved his family beyond measure! He will be leaving behind his 3 children among many other family members and friends!
