Help Kyle on his road to recovery.

My name is Claire, and I'm Kyles girlfriend. I set up a gofundme for Kyle to help with his medical bills from Renown and the Care Flight air support.  He is very humble and never asks for a handout.  With the helicopter flight, 7 days in the hospital (so far) and 2 surgeries I know the bills are stacking. any type of help would be greatly appreciated. He has had so much love and support from everyone since his accident. Here is a break down of his accident.  Thank you all so much for being there for Kyle. He is touched and his heart his filled with happiness from all the love he has received from this terrifying accident.  Let's help Kyle get back playing in the mountains where he belongs.

Kyle and Josh were out backcountry skiing last Friday, &  on their last run an avalanche was triggered. Josh was able to ski to safety luckily as the whole face ripped beneath him. Kyle was left with some hang fire that unfortunately released after his 1st turn. The only option Kyle had was to strait line it off of a blind cliff. With snow moving all around him and seconds to react, he went for it. The cliff ended up being around 100ft. After a brutal landing, the snow from above covered Kyle and drug him further down the mountain. I am so thankful Josh was close enough to take action and get to Kyle with in minutes. Kyle’s hand was the only part of him above the snow. Josh cleared his airway and called for air support. It took 30 minutes for Care Flight to reach Kyle and Josh. Kyle was rushed to Renown ICU. He suffered from a punctured Right lung, concussion, broken c7, t1,t2, t3, ribs 9 though 12, L5, and bruising of both lungs. Kyle just went through surgery yesterday leaving him with two chest tubes. Kyle is strong and will heal over time! The 1st video is of Kyle’s run before the avalanche filmed by Josh. The 2nd photo is an image of the cliff Kyle went over. And the 3rd photo is Buddy giving Kyle a kiss before surgery. I am so proud of Kyle and how hard he is pushing himself everyday. He is eager to get home and he appreciates all the love and support he has been receiving. So thank you all so much! Also thank you does not even express how grateful I am that Josh was there to save Kyle’s life. He would not be here today if it was not for you Josh and all of the medical tams involved.
