My team of doctors offered up a new option for me and my treatment, time is of the essence. I want to do everything I can, using every new/clinical trial or treatment or therapy that will protect me and help me and to avoid any future recurrence but first to kill all those cancer cells they found.
Canada has many great options but there are others my doctors are aware of that are not quite ready for Canada or I need to process applications over time which puts my chemo treatment on hold.
The cost for the gene test is $6,600 U.S. to complete an extensive genic test that will provide critical info to my doctors to select the best chemo mix for longevity.
I will be looking at other treatment options suggested by the OICC like a new therapy using oxygen here in Kitchener and that may cost out of pocket which is why is fund is higher than one test.
Any funds I raise above what I need for treatment will be donated to friends battling similar cancer wars; if that is ok with you?
But 1st things 1st ... I need to get my treatment sooner than later and this gene test takes 14 days as it is. This fund will allow me to move very quick to beat this otherwise Sunlife takes 9 days to process and not dure how long OHIP will be.
