Hi, my name is Oscar and I am creating this page for my family, and most importantly my mother.

My dad Francisco spent the last fours years between the hospital and hospice. In July of 2019 he had a stroke while taking a shower and didn't recieve medical care for over 5 hours. By the time he made it to the hopsital, severe damage had been done. After months in the ER he was moved in with my mother, sister, and brother in their small two bedroom apartment. He was barely able to say more than one or two words or even form a sentence, lost pretty much all of the motor skills in the entire right side of his body, and never left the cot that hospice was able to provide for more than 10 minutes at most to sit in a wheelchair. We gladly spent the last four years taking care of him as we were just grateful to have him around for a little big longer.

After a long battle, his body finally decided that it was time to let go. He was a kind, hardworking, provider and there is a big hole without his presence. He and my mother had been together for over 40 years and while they didn't have a picture perfect marriage, they never stopped supporting and loving eachother. They gave us a future we never thought possible and we owe them the world.
