I met Andrea a few years ago at Orangetheory Fitness, where she began working out to shed the weight she gained after undergoing surgery to remove a large tumor from her stomach. From the start, it was clear that Andrea was a fighter—she pushed herself through not one, but two back-to-back 50-minute classes.

But I soon realized that Andrea wasn’t just there to rebuild her physical strength—she was also fighting for her mental and emotional well-being. Throughout 2023 and 2024, she endured a painful and emotionally taxing divorce. Just as the dust settled and she was beginning to regain her footing and look towards the future, Andrea received devastating news: she had been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

While Andrea has always shown incredible resilience, this is a battle she can’t fight alone.
