Hi, my name is Martianna and I’m a single mother trying to keep a roof over my 4-year-old daughter’s head.

Right now, we’re facing eviction. I’ve fallen behind on rent due to financial hardship, and I’ve been doing everything I can — working, building my esthetics business, and seeking community resources — but I’ve hit a wall. Even though people have tried to help me pay, my apartment management is refusing assistance from third parties and still moving forward with the eviction process.

I am not someone who takes asking for help lightly. I’ve always been independent and hardworking, but right now I have no other options. Anything you can give, even just a few dollars or a share, would mean the world to me and my daughter.
