Please help us keep our vehicle

On June 7 2019, Maxx and Ellie came in to the world. Maxx was Twin B and needed some oxygen to get going, Ellie was Twin A and quiet like a lamb. Three days later the twins joined our family at home.  On July 1, only a few short weeks later, Maxx woke up at 4:20 am for a feed. This alerted us that his sister Ellie, was not breathing.  With the help of 911 and the remarkable lifesaving efforts of her oldest brother, Ellie was resuscitated and brought back to life.  She was quickly rushed to the hospital where her little, fragile body, endured many tests. Countless bloodwork, CT, Spinal Tap, EEG, and a MRI. She was given the diagnosis of having had an Isolated Sudden Infant Death Syndrome event. In other words, she’s survived SIDS.  As you may be aware there is currently a doctor shortage in BC and there are waitlists for physicians and specialists of which Eleanor requires due to her complex medical and physical needs.  This has led us to seek help in Edmonton, of which we need to drive to each month. Eleanor’s medical care team in Edmonton has been bridging this gap in support for our family as we access medical care through Alberta services. For this we are very grateful. I am a single mother of 4 children, aged 4.5 to 11 yrs old. Trying to manage all of this while I’m not able to work as I’m Eleanor’s care provider. My son Bo who is 11 years of age also experiences challenges in his life as he struggles with Autism. I am asking for your help with funding to go towards these costs, which include maintaining our families vehicle that is in threat of being seized. I am most grateful for any assistance you can provide to ensure Eleanor has access to these appointments, and that we have the ability to get around as needed. Thank you!
