Family of Four Lost Everything in Fire

My name is Angelica and I’m a single mom of 3…..i feel really shameful for even doing this and asking for help but I have to put that aside for my kids. We just moved here to Modesto from Merced. I lost my job and apartment last year and I finally got back on track. My kids are in football a good school and finally felt like life was coming together . Yesterday (6/7/2025) we experienced a fire on our apartment that got out of control and burnt own our whole apartment. My kids are safe. Thank God We did have a cat we can’t locate in the fire or out. My older son was truly a hero. I was outside the apartment and he was inside when it happened. He got his siblings out and he truly made me so proud with how quick he thought of things. We lost everything. I’m glad everyone was safe and I was able to save my mother’s ashes . I really hate to be in this position and have to ask for help. But for my kids I’ll do anything. Any clothes or shoes or anything that could be donated would help me. I have a 11yr old son a 10yr old son and a 4 year old daughter. I do have a job that is working with me while take time off but I need any help I can get with the cost of getting a new place or even if it’s just clothes for my kids. I appprecite everything and anything. We are just trying to figure things out and get back on track
