Upcoming Top Surgery Help

Hi there! If you don't already know, I'm Carter. I live with my partner of 5 years and our cats. I work full time at an amazing job. I am nonbinary and have been medically transitioning for a couple years now. The next step that I need is gender affirming top surgery.

I have always prided myself on being strong and independent. Asking for help always seemed to end in disappointment so I just learned to do everything for myself. This is very expensive procedure that is medically necessary but insurance doesn't see it that way. That means I'm left saving up for not only the actual surgery but the living expenses of being out of work and travelling just to have it done. Unless something magical happens it will take me years to do that.

Unfortunately waiting for so long already has been detrimental to my mental health and I know this cannot go on for years to come. I don't have family to fall back on, especially for financial reasons so thats not an option. I am hoping to find some help now because I have been approved for surgery. Now all I need to do is pay for it and I will finally be able to be myself.
