About 2 months ago, Pogo was diagnosed with large cell Lymphoma. I was absolutely devastated. Pogo has been my best friend for 6 years and I was planning on spending so many more with him. He's genuinely the biggest reason why I'm here today. He pulled me out of some dark places and has cheered up so many people along the way. He was given 30 to 60 days without treatment. Luckily, because of the type of cancer, it being caught before spreading to other places, and his age he was a good candidate for chemotherapy which he has been participating in for about 7 weeks now. He's taking really well to it and a few weeks ago was already going into remission based on physical examination. We still have a lot of chemo left to do but I'm really hopeful.
I was waiting to get to this point in order to reach out to others and ask for help. The chemotherapy while not nearly as expensive as it can be for people, is still way outside of anything I can actually afford. I have plans in place to pay for it, but it would mean so much if you could chip in just a little bit to help. Thank you for reading and for loving Pogo just like I do.
Stay safe and stay healthy everyone ❤️
