On Sunday, February 22, our friend, father, brother, and son Joel Tarantini was involved in a serious snowmobile accident that resulted in a catastrophic injury. He was first taken to Sault Area Hospital and later flown to Sudbury where he underwent emergency surgery. After an incredibly difficult period, he is now off the ventilator but remains unable to use his legs as he begins a long and challenging road to recovery.

Joel is a devoted husband to Susan, a loving father, and a cherished friend to so many. This life-changing event has turned their world upside down, and the road ahead will require immense strength, care, and support.

We are asking our community to come together to help Joel and Susan during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward essential home modifications, accessibility equipment, rehabilitation needs, and the many unexpected expenses that come with a catastrophic injury.
