Support Vero's Fight Against Cancer

Vero has always been a loving and dedicated mother, wife, and sister. In January 2024, her life took an unexpected turn when she began feeling unwell, with symptoms that made it difficult for her to continue her daily activities as she once did.

After months of uncertainty and numerous medical visits, she was finally diagnosed in August 2024 with breast cancer and Sjögren’s Syndrome. This autoimmune disease affects the glands that produce tears and saliva, causing dryness in the eyes and mouth, as well as fatigue, joint pain, and in some cases, impacting other organs.

Vero has the unconditional support of her husband, her 15-year-old son, and her siblings, who are tirelessly working to find the fastest and most effective medical care possible. She is currently scheduled for a mastectomy in January 2025, and the family is seeking second opinions to ensure she receives the best treatment available.

Vero, "Mimi" to many, is going through a difficult time, and with this small gesture, we let her know how much we love her and that she is not alone on this journey. We humbly reach out to ask for your support during this fight. Vero siempre ha sido una madre, esposa y hermana amorosa y dedicada. En enero de 2024, su vida dio un giro inesperado cuando comenzó a sentirse mal, con síntomas que le dificultaban continuar con sus actividades diarias como solía hacerlo.

Después de meses de incertidumbre y numerosas visitas médicas, finalmente fue diagnosticada en agosto de 2024 con cáncer de mama y el Síndrome de Sjögren. Esta enfermedad autoinmune afecta las glándulas que producen lágrimas y saliva, causando sequedad en los ojos y la boca, además de fatiga, dolor en las articulaciones y, en algunos casos, afectando otros órganos.

Vero cuenta con el apoyo incondicional de su esposo, su hijo de 15 años y sus hermanos, quienes están trabajando incansablemente para encontrar la atención médica más rápida y eficaz posible. Actualmente, tiene programada una mastectomía en enero de 2025, y la familia está buscando segundas opiniones para asegurar que reciba el mejor tratamiento disponible.

Vero, "Mimi" para muchos, está atravesando un momento difícil, y con este pequeño gesto le hacemos saber lo mucho que la queremos y que no está sola en este camino. Nos dirigimos a ustedes con humildad para pedir su apoyo en esta lucha.
