Sometimes life does not eventuate as we anticipated. Such is the case for sisi wami (best friend/non-biological sister). While the story is long and inappropriate for this page, I want everyone to know how wonderful a person she is; I would do anything for her. She has worked tirelessly to cope in an abusive marriage for many, many years, concluding that she can do nothing to transform the person she married. She realises that the most healing and holistic choice she can make for herself and her children is to file for divorce. She now faces the brave step to remove them from the cycle of abuse and begin again.
