Finns fight to get home after having his spleen removed

Hi my name is Carly and this is my parents dog Finn. Up until last week he was an extremely fit and healthy 8 year old cocker spaniel. He was rushed into the vets with a swollen stomach and is extremely unwell but still fighting. He has been diagnosed with IMHA Which attacks the blood cells. After several tests and a blood transfusion he is continuing to fight. Unfortunately the insurance limit has already been reached and bills are already in the excess of £5500. Finn is one of four dogs in his pack and they need him home

I am reaching out to anyone who could help support this fight and relieve some of the pressure on my parents. We can’t give up on this boy. Thank you, please share

Update Finn has gone down for surgery to remove his spleen as things are not improving after the blood transfusion. He was not strong enough to have the surgery 48 hours ago but has perked up enough for them to consider doing it. He really has no other option and the next 48hours are crucial. Vet bills now currently stand in excess of £10000

my parents are in the process of trying to sell their camper van to fund a large chunk of the bill but will still be short
