Starting over

I've been going through a two-year midlife crisis, have now hit my fiftieth birthday and am living with my father again. We both benefit from the arrangement, but I can't sit here mooching off his military retirement and Social Security. I've been job-hunting with so far no success and I've been back a little over a month.

Problems:

1. We're rural. Like, way rural. Like, where I live has nearly no cell signal. I catch it when I can. There is no landline. The only internet we can get is either cellular, which is crap, or satellite which is way too expensive. So we're not. I have to literally leave my house to do anything but surf social media and check my bank balance.

This also means I have trouble getting phone calls. You see the problem, what with me job-hunting.

2. I'm running due on three bills, phone first and foremost. It may not be useful most of the time, but I still need it. I have a couple other bills coming due too, one being car insurance.

What I'm asking will buy me another month and give me more time to search.

If you don't like giving something for nothing, I'm studio random (or studiorandom, all one word, in the shop address) on Etsy. This isn't an ad for the shop, but I thought it might make a nice alternative option.
