"HOPE FOR SIERRA"

As most of you know, our daughter Sierra has suffered from a constant headache for five years. She has had several MRI's, endless prescriptions, and various medical procedures, including spinal taps and a biopsy of her pituitary gland. Unfortunately, nothing has worked and she is in pain 24 hours a day. We were recently referred to the "Carrick Brain Center" in Texas, a facility that has had great success with concussions, headaches, and other brain impairments. Treatment involves a five day stay at the center. Sierra will see doctors several times a day and have various types of procedures until they get results. Unfortunately, the center does not take insurance and the costs are a minimum of $1,000 a day. After much research and prayer, we have decided to go ahead with the visit, despite the costs. Sierra, as most of you know, is a vivacious and positive young lady who has not let this medical condition and constant pain prevent her from pursuing a university education or from enjoying life. It has been very difficult watching her endure this pain for the past five years and having to give up some activities such as basketball and other high impact sports. Several people recommended we set up a Go Fund Account to help offset some of the costs. If you are financially able and would like to make a donation, we would be most grateful.
