Hi my name is Toni Frost, I have 3 beautiful children and a loving partner. 15 months ago our lives were turned upside down after finding a growth on my brain.
After travelling to Hobart for the operation I was told I had a Glioblastoma stage 4 tumor.
Coming back to Launceston and seeing my specialist we were told best case scenario of 18 months.
I did my radiation therapy  for 6 weeks and chemotherapy for 1 year along side a double blind trial drug called Rindopepimut. Everything seemed to be going well until 3 weeks ago I started getting headaches and feeling light headed, then a week ago after another MRI  we were told that it has spread to my cerebellum. They have said the only treatment that I can have is called Avastin which will cost $3300 per treatment, after 6 treatments the company will take over the payment for me, but first we must come up with $20,000 or the treatment can not go ahead.
I understand the financial pressure on everyone however would really appreciate anything you may be able to spare.
