Artistic Adventure to Chile!

Hi Everyone!

I am Taylor Gordon, a graduate student pursuing a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Delaware. This program has been an enriching, life-changing and transformative experience that has propelled my artistic journey. It continues to open avenues that I’ve never imagined, which leads me to this new adventure.

I have been blessed with an opportunity to explore the artistic landscape in Chile with other University of Delaware MFA candidates for one week (March 21st - 31st). During our time in Chile we will create and collaborate with Chilean artists and other critical thinkers, as well as understand the unique landscape of the country - socially, culturally, politically and creatively. And, the icing on the cake comes prior to our departure. The end of our trip will culminate with an art exhibition which will be publicly displayed/presented at the Galleries of the Institution Profesional Arcos, which is an historic art institution in Valparaiso (https://www.arcos.cl/)! To participate in an art exhibit in another country is mindblowing and truly humbling!

Taking advantage of this opportunity requires a village. Each MFA candidate is responsible to cover a portion of the trip’s cost. Through various creative activities I am closer to my $2,500 goal! Any donation to help me reach my goal is greatly appreciated!
