Destiny Campbell turned 17 on April 21, 2020. Destiny was a beloved student at Bronx Leadership Academy II High School going into her senior year. Destiny passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 from complications due to Sickle Cell Anemia.
Her teachers, classmates and our entire school community were saddened to hear of her passing. Our heartfelt and sincerest condolences are with her family and on behalf of our entire school community we truly grieve her loss.
We are raising money to help Destiny's family in this time of need that is exponentially more difficult because of the crisis that all of us are currently facing. Please see it in your heart to help Destiny's mom, Karen Thompson, dad Lason Campbell and baby sister Skye get through their grief without having to also deal with financial issues. Whatever you can afford would be greatly appreciated. These funds will be going directly to Destiny's mom for the funding of a mausoleum.
