Praying for a holiday miracle! Pound to Posh Dog Rescue is a 501c3 dedicated to saving lives of shelter pets. We saved Scooby and his family from death row but as he grew we noticed something odd on his little neck. The vet did x-rays and it has been confirmed his has spina bifida which mean there is a hole where his spinal fluid is leaking out of his body. It is very dangerous because of infections,  injury as well as risk of seizures. Scooby runs and plays with the other pups. You would never know anything is wrong but without surgery Scooby could die. We refuse to euthanize Scooby. We want to give him a chance at a normal life. He is only a baby. He needs surgery to repair the hole in his neck ASAP. We have been given a quote of $5000. We are a very small, all volunteer organization with very limited resources.
