On Monday, June 6th - Brandon received the call verifying what he feared - that the ongoing pain in his stomach and back was due to a 2 cm x 3cm tumor growing on his pancreas. At only 44 years old, you can imagine the fear felt by Brandon and his family & friends. This is the type of thing in life that you can't imagine happening so close to home - yet here we are.
Because the cancer is close to the main duct - doctors want to start chemo to shrink it before surgery to remove the tumor.
Brandon is expected to undergo chemotherapy for 4-6 weeks and will start as soon as next week.
As you can imagine, the Harbour house has been turned upside down. Rides to and from hockey and work have now become rides to and from the many doctor's appointments. Instead of getting excited about their oldest daughter's recent graduation - Brandon and Angie are researching the best treatments around the country. Two children are still in high school. These three girls need their Dad to walk them down the aisle one day. His son, his spitting image, still needs his Dad to continue to show him how to be a man in this world. That is a small sample of the people that need Brandon healthy again.
The goal of this go-fund me is to give Brandon a little less to worry about as he goes through treatment & surgery and the recovery time after.
Cancer can cost families anywhere from 25k-250k for their out-of-pocket portions (pharmacy, co-pays and deductibles). Everything truly will help.
Our entire family knows we can not do this alone. Brandon is a true fighter and would never ask for help so we are asking on his behalf!
You can support Brandon through love, prayer, words of encouragement and, if you can, any financial contribution.

Let's work together to get him healthy and back on the ice or fishing his favorite river with his wife and four children.
As Brandon puts it, "don't feel bad for me; feel bad for this cancer because I'm going to kick its ass!"
