My dad is a hardworking family man who has always gone above and beyond to provide for his family. Recently, while working, he suffered a terrible accident—falling 12 feet and shattering both of his heels. This injury has left him in the hospital, facing severe pain, 2 major surgeries and a long road to recovery. During this time, he will be unable to stand or walk for at least a few months. Putting him out of work for quite a while.

Because of his injuries, my dad will need around-the-clock care to make sure his daily needs are met. The financial strain of not being able to work, combined with medical expenses and the cost of caring for him, has put a lot of pressure on our family.
