Hello! We are Jack and Harper and we are both so incredibly excited to share that we have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to Borneo on an educational trip with Camps International and our school. This is a special opportunity where we will get to take part in environmental and community projects over in Borneo.

We’ll be participating in a variety of activities such as tree planting, tidying of beaches and wildlife conservation with the Orangutan’s and Sun Bears. We will also be supporting the local communities by helping to improve education standards, constructing/refurbishing community buildings and installing water storage systems.

To us this trip is more than just us offering help to others it’s about us being pushed outside our comfort zones, working as a team and building up resilience. Being a naturally shy person, I Jack am really hoping this trip helps me build up my confidence. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone by get involved in situations I’d normally avoid. I think working in a team will help me improve how I talk to people and communicate better, which is something I know I’ll need as I get older and start my journey into adult life.

I, Harper dream to become a vet one day. I’m really hoping this trip gives me some proper hands-on experience with animals. I want to see how they behave in their natural environment and also learn how rehabilitation centres help them get ready to go back out there into their natural habitat. I’d love to understand more about how conservation centres work and what we can actually do to protect these animals and their future.

To go on this trip, we need to fundraise £5215 each and are looking to raise this from donations from family, friends, kind people in our community and local businesses. We would really appreciate any support you can offer, even a small donation will help in getting us closer to our target.

We are asking if any businesses would be interested in sponsoring us on this trip and in return we would have their company logos displayed on our T-shirt’s for us to wear whilst partaking in fundraising activities here in the UK and also during our visit to Borneo with the aim to promote any businesses who have kindly helped in getting us both there. We would be happy to share these photos on social media.

The costs for the logo sponsorship would be:

1 large logo £500 (each, max of 1 per t shirt)

1 medium logo £250 (each, max of 5 per t shirt)

1 small logo £100 (each, max of 10 per t shirt)
