Hello everyone,

We’re reaching out as a family to ask for your love and support for an incredible woman, our beloved grandma, mom, aunt, and friend, Sandy. She was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, and our world has been turned upside down.

If you know Sandy, you know she’s the heart and soul of our family. She’s the one who shows up, always. With her warmth, strength, and unwavering compassion, she’s spent her entire life taking care of others, family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers. Whether it was a home-cooked meal, a listening ear, or a place to stay, Sandy never hesitated to give from the heart.

She’s also the spirit behind so many joyful memories. For years, Sandy ran a cherished food stand at her favorite campground, turning simple meals into unforgettable summer traditions. Camping and cooking were her happy places, where she built lasting friendships and made everyone feel like family.

Two years ago, Sandy suffered the heartbreaking loss of her husband. Even in her grief, she kept going strong for us all. Now, as she begins a new and difficult journey, it’s our turn to be strong for her.

Sandy is currently receiving care at the Cancer Center in Akron, Ohio, where she’s undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiation, as well as additional procedures that demand all her strength and resilience. But along with the physical and emotional toll, she’s also facing a crushing financial burden: medical bills, medications, transportation, and basic living expenses while she is unable to work and provide.

A donation no matter the amount, will go directly toward easing the financial strain so Sandy can focus fully on healing.
