Alicia and I found each other several years ago and in a sense, we've been preparing for big moments like this since then. We've been deep into learning as much as we can about ourselves, emotions, mindset, and healing modalities so that when big transitions come, and they will come, we will be better prepared.
Alicia is in the midst of one of the biggest transitions a parent could ever face; the transition of her child. Despite it being so painful, she has stood up to the feelings with grace and compassion.
She has shared the most poetic insights of her communication with her son Zion since he entered a coma. She has heard his observations about his condition and his body and has given her insight and guidance on how to continue on without him here in his body any longer.
Zion was one of our tribes gurus; always with the wisdom and keen eye and motivating words of encouragement.
He is honored and celebrated and we as his tribe welcome him as one of our wise ancestors.
The way we get down as a tribe is we show up for the pain and we take each moment as a healing opportunity. We sit in silence, we cry, we talk story, we dance, we laugh till we cry, we travel to change our perspective, we soak, we sweat, we drink green juice, we make healing remedies....
I am asking for your support for Alicia to continue on fully empowered and supported by her community to heal the way she wants to and for her to have the time and space to move at her own speed to do so. She has a lifelong road ahead of her and the pain will come in waves; each ache requiring a unique remedy.
Your support will support her in doing so.
Thank you,
Tiffany Janay
