Hello! Many of you know me, but for those that don't, I am Lauren Ruff. I was diagnosed this summer with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After a couple of months of testing, I finally have a diagnosis for an atypically aggressive form of Small Lymphocytic Leukemia (SLL) at Stage 4. This means my cancer is widespread.

My treatment starts on August 31st with weekly chemotherapy and monoclonal antibody treatment. I won't be able to work nearly as much as I have been due to the side effects of treatment and the extreme illness that the treatment itself can cause.

Unfortunately, while there's a lot of help out there to pay for co-pays and other medical costs that are not covered by insurance, there is almost nothing available to help with basic things like: transportation to and from treatment, rent, utilities, and even food.

This is where I'm asking for your help. I need help to pay for these costs. Without your help, I will not be able to undergo treatment because I just won't be able to afford to treat my cancer as it will stop me from working.
