Help Ryan Find His Voice Through Eye Gaze Technology
Ryan has recently had a trial with Smartbox. This went amazing! And he finally got to have his voice for a short time. We have tried all avenues for funding but no luck. Ryan never had this opportunity growing up and believe this will widen his social and health.
Ryan is a bright, funny and caring 32-year-old who has cerebral palsy and requires 24-hour care. He’s non-verbal, PEG-fed, and uses a BiPAP machine to support his breathing — but despite all these challenges, he has so much to say.
Right now, Ryan has no reliable way to communicate his thoughts, feelings or choices. An eye gaze communication device would change that completely.
This incredible technology allows people who can’t speak or use their hands to control a computer using only their eyes — giving him a voice for the very first time.
Unfortunately, these devices are very expensive and not fully funded by the NHS or local services. That’s why we’re asking for your help to raise funds to buy one for Ryan.
With your support, Ryan will finally be able to:
Communicate with his family and carers
Express his needs, likes and dislikes
Join in conversations, jokes and activities
Have a greater sense of independence and dignity
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to giving Ryan the voice he deserves.
If you can’t donate, please share this page — it really does make a difference.
Thank you so much for helping Ryan be heard. ❤️
