5Books for Every school in the Maidstone Borough

I am trying to raise the funds to get this series of 5 books into every primary school in the Maidstone Borough, it costs £35 per school for all 5 books in the series and the teaching resources that accompany them.
Together we can inspire our children to protect our oceans with these proven, fun, beautiful, engaging teaching resources for every school.
The Wild Tribe Heroes are written by Cornish based author Ellie Jackson and are a series of books designed to teach primary school children about the problems our environment is facing and what they can do to fix it!
Ocean plastics is a serious problem affecting every part of our planet, but with your help we can inspire future generations to reverse this throw away plastic culture that’s destroying our world. The real key to solving the issue is to inspire children from a young age about the problem - and this is where a little bit of help from you can make a direct difference in OUR community and the planet!
There are 5 books, Duffy the sea turtle who eats too much plastic, Marli the puffin who gets tangled up in balloons, Nelson the whale who needs rescuing from a fishing net, Buddy’s rainforest rescue is about an orangutan and palm oil and the fifth book, Hunters Icy Adventure, which is newly released about polar bears and climate change.
It is vital to teach children this message in a gentle way, whilst still explaining the issues. As adults we find it distressing and overwhelming to see these shocking images of rivers of plastic, animals in distress and depressing facts. There is no need for a child of primary school age to see images of their favourite animals in so much pain and yet if we leave this until they are teenagers, the habits they have learned will be much harder to change.
So I am asking you all, please share and spread the word, ask businesses and anyone you know who may be able to help raise these funds, I appreciate any assistance!
On behalf of my small business Zero Waste on Wheels, I am donating a set of the books to my children’s school, Headcorn Primary. I will not take any profits from the sales of these books, all monies will go straight to the author, to fund more of her amazing work and books.
So, lets teach our children that this is not OK...
