Madison's WalkAide
Donation protected
Madison is a bright, happy, amazing little girl who has cerebral palsy. Madison was born premature and a surviving identical twin. She also suffered from infantile spasms, a specific type of seizure. She has made so much progress with lots of help from early intervention, the Schwartz center, numerous doctors, therapy at school and home and lots of love!
The WalkAide is a wonderful device that will allow her to better use her own muscles without the use of braces. It sends an impulse to her brain to correctly use her legs and feet. The hope is that the benefits will last even when the device is not in use! The only issue with the device is insurance will not cover it and it is expensive.
Madison has an appointment with a WalkAide representative, her doctor, and her therapist on November 27th 2013. Every dollar counts, please donate if you can so Madison can have the freedom to move.
