Help me complete my education outside of Gaza
Mahmoud's Dream: A Code for a Brighter Future
My name is Mahmoud Musleh. I am a 20-year-old Palestinian from the northern Gaza Strip. I dream of becoming a programmer, of using my skills to build a better future for myself and my community.
In Gaza, dreams once bloomed brightly. I was studying computer science at Al-Azhar University, fueled by a passion to create a digital world filled with innovation. I envisioned a future where technology could bridge divides and create opportunities.
But then, war shattered everything. The relentless bombardment destroyed our schools and universities, extinguishing the light of hope in countless hearts. My university, a beacon of knowledge, was reduced to rubble.
Now, I stand amidst the ruins, my dream seemingly buried beneath the debris. Gaza offers no hope for me to continue my studies, to acquire the skills I need to fulfill my potential.
My only hope lies beyond the borders, where I can access the education I desperately need. I yearn to leave Gaza and rebuild my future, to learn, to grow, and to contribute to a world that values innovation.
The Rafah crossing, the only gateway out of the besieged Gaza Strip, stands as a formidable barrier. The cost of crossing, $6,000, is an insurmountable hurdle for me.
I am reaching out to you, my fellow human beings, with a plea for help. I need your support to reclaim my dream, to rebuild my future.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to my goal of learning, growing, and contributing to a world that needs skilled minds like mine.
Help me escape the cycle of despair, help me rebuild my future, help me code my way to a brighter tomorrow.
Your generosity can be the key that unlocks my potential and brings hope to a young man who is determined to create a better world.
Thank you.
