First of all, thank you for taking the time out to hear what God has put on my heart to accomplish. My name is Tara Napper. I'm a married wife of three beautiful children.
The Lord has been dealing with me concerning the "spiritual" and physical safety of our children abroad. With school shootings, high school dropout rates increasing, teen pregnancy, cyber bullying, suicides, sexting, etc., we have to admit that prayer out of school has not been one of the greatest ideas this nation has had.
It is my desire to teach and help others teach children that God has a plan and purpose for them. If children are illiterate and not in an environment conducive to them learning self worth and truth, they will never develop a passion for the Word of God and love for one another.
I work in the public school system and I'm also a Sunday School teacher. I'm not allowed to talk about God in the work setting but He is shown in my mannerisms and decisions daily. My aim is not to force God on the world but to show that God's ways benefit the world for the good.
With the help of my 12 year old daughter, I have wrote a book about a children's Prayer Club in school that uses their freedom of religion to encourage others to not be ashamed of who they are and to navigate through the daily peer pressure and battles that so many of our children face on a regular basis (sometimes unknowingly to us adults).
I believe what we don't use we lose. This book will equip not only our children, but families and the body of Christ with strategies to become victors and not victims in a godless society. The Bible states that we have not because we ask not and this is why I'm seeking your help in raising $4,000 to get my book out.
Being a parent is the most important task God will give to an individual. We set the path to Hell or Heaven, success or failure, tragedy or triumph, for our children. I'm grateful that my husband is an ordained Elder in the Faith who uses all of his talents from rapping, playwriting, etc. to make our home and church a fun but learning environment where our children are being cultivated to become leaders and not followers. However, I wish every child had this same opportunity.
Please partner with me in raising up the next generation to love God and be the ones who will contend for the Faith and make the name of Jesus Christ respected again and hopefully loved!
