Help Wendy Escape Her Pain

Donation protected

The saying, "Bad things happen to good people" couldn't be more true when talking about Wendy and many others suffering with RSD/CRPS.
Wendy hails from sunny Florida and lived in her dream house for 14 yrs with her husband and two children.
She was the picture of perfect health, maintaining a fit body and year-round tan by working in the yard, basking around the pool or enjoying their boat.
Dec 2009, Wendy escaped a minor car accident with only a soar neck, not realizing her debilitating pain disease had just been set in motion.  Her neck pain soon began to spread into her right arm and became so intense, doctors started her on pain medications. Wendy's pain continued to spread and intensify, making over-the-counter meds ill-effective and by June 2011, she could no longer work and filed for Social Security.
Wendy's RSD was diagnosed two long years after her car accident.
During that time, people began to wonder if she was suffering from anything, or even in pain at all. Social Security Administration didn't believe her either, and they didn't have to. They don't list RSD in their library of impairments, making it easy for them to deny her benefits. They also accused Wendy's doctors of falsifying her medical records and claimed 1) there doctors can't  measure pain. They substantiated their decision with an old 2) x-ray they claimed was Wendy's lower back, showing no nerve damage. 1) Pain can't be measured . 2) you can't see severed nerves from an x-ray besides, RSD diagnosis doesn't require nerve damage).
You would think USAA, her military members only insurance. provided by her USAF ret. husband, would be ethical enough to do what's right, but NO. They Robbed Wendy of $80,000.00 by first dissecting her symptoms then matching them to every medical record they could find.

I'm Kurt Widowson, Wendy's husband and caretaker.
Our insurance didn't pay nearly enough for Wendy's ketamine infusions.
SIPA bills insurance $8100 for one treatment and there payed only $404.
Now our insurance is paying even less and we've heard, soon they're not going to pay anything at all.
Wendy's been receiving 2 to 4 treatments a month for over two years and we don't have the resources to pay what SIPA is asking;

1 ketamine infusion cost Wendy $600
Wendy needs 2 to 4 ketamine infusions every month $1200-$2400
